Its interesting to see areas of the Fort at different times of the year.  This first picture shows the Western Carnot wall in 2008, in good condition, quiet visible to people walking along the boardwalk.

And just two years after that (2013), the wall has gone!

This demonstrates the aggressive nature of the ivy on the Fort, and the reason that clearance work should start sooner than later
