At 22:10 on the 14th January 2011 I sat at Chichester hospital by my dads side, holding his hand and his forehead as he slipped away and left us.
This is a day which I have never forgotten, and will never forget. Not a day goes past that I don’t think of him and miss him. This day was the saddest day of my life.
He leaves behind my mum Cath, daughter Clare, Paula, Sue and sons Malcolm, David, Mick, Tony, Gary and me.
I know that he is now in a place free of pain and fear, and in his rose garden doing what he liked to do.
We all miss you dad, and know that one day we will once again, sit together and talk and have a good drink. lol.
