AGM Recap: Exciting Changes and Future Plans

AGM done!

Hello, everyone! Andy Orpin here, and I’m excited to share that we’ve successfully wrapped up another Annual General Meeting for the project, held at the charming Black Horse pub in Climping. A big thank you to the Black Horse for providing such a fantastic setting for our gathering!

This year brings some changes to our team. I’m pleased to announce that John Rhodes has stepped in as our new Fort Treasurer, taking over from John Howard, who has completed five years of dedicated service. We truly appreciate John H’s commitment to the Fort Project during his tenure.

I’m also happy to share that I’ve been voted in as Chairman and Project Manager for another year and I’m looking forward to another busy and exciting year ahead!

At this AGM, we welcomed Stuart Horne as our new “Honorary Management Member/Golf Club Liaison.” Stuart’s expertise will be a valuable asset to the Fort Project as we continue our journey. Thank you, Stuart, for joining our team!

We have a lot of ambitious plans lined up for the next one to four years, and we’re eager to achieve them with your support. Stay tuned for more updates as we move forward together!

Kind Regards

Andy Orpin

Project Manager and Chairman

Littlehampton Fort Restoration Project.
