This partnership paves the way for a collaborative approach that will be instrumental in safeguarding this important piece of local heritage.

Stuart is the Director of Marketing / Communication at
Littlehampton Golf Club, bringing a wealth of experience and a

We are delighted to have Stuart Horne join our management team” he said. “His expertise, dedication and commitment to working with this historical piece history will be key as we continue our work on the fort. We look forward to working closely with him to ensure that the Littlehampton Fort is saved for future generations.”

Stuart’s joining the management team represents more than just an expansion of the project’s leadership; it symbolises the strengthening of ties between the restoration project and the golf club. This partnership will enable both parties to pool resources and expertise, creating a robust foundation for the project’s future success.

As the project moves forward, the collaborative efforts led by Stuart Horne and the existing management team will be critical in overcoming the challenges associated with the fort’s restoration. The team is committed to preserving the fort’s historical significance, ensuring it
remains a testament to the region’s rich military history.

The Littlehampton Fort Restoration Project invites the community to join in welcoming Stuart Horne to the team and looks forward to the positive impact his leadership will bring. Together, with the support of the Littlehampton Golf Club and the wider community, the project is confident that the fort will be restored and preserved for future generations to explore and enjoy.
