We found something today that is not in the plans of the fort. It was just behind the large slabs, it was a fire brick with BOILER 5 COURSE engraved on it, was in the partial destroyed large cast iron water tank which is attached to the large slabs. Why have a boiler in Gun Emplacement No 5. Well dug to Trish Guildford, Michael Geen, Guy Hamilton-Fletcher, and Dave Maw. Great find.

What a find today, we dug the slab out and could have possibly found a small top step that leads onto the slabs. It is small in width than the other ones.
