Andys Blog 18/12/19

Hi all,

As we come to a close to 2019, I hope you are all having a nice xmas break from working days? January we will be back on the site and cracking on. Please make sure that if you are coming along on one these cold wintery days you ensure you keep warm, focusing on head wear which is very important, for some of us more than others lol πŸ™‚

I am currently broken from an assault which occurred at work last week, the potential impact could be i will be out of action for 6 weeks! but i should find out Monday. I will be able to still conduct inductions, but working days will not be an option for me πŸ™

The plan for the first part of the year will be to;

i) revisit areas of regrowth and get them under control

ii) clear the last of the remaining gun emplacements

iii) clear the parade ground

iv) Clear the northern (parade ground side) most part of the barrack block

v) Re attempt clearance of the eastern steps. (we are due in the new year to have a drone survey which should potentially provide us with some answers.

That i am sure will keep us busy for the first quarter.

I will be looking to run a couple of day supervisors training days. This is open to anyone who is a volunteer for us already, and will provide us with more opportunities to run more days. If this is something which is of interest you please drop me an email andy@littlehamptonfort.co.uk

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for us, we are always looking for more volunteers, for more info please click the link http://www.littlehamptonfort.co.uk/2019/08/09/we-are-looking-for-volunteers/
