We received a research request from a relative of Isaac Evans Walter

“I am interested to know if you know where the families of the  Soldiers lived in 1880 or there about. I have a family member who died while stationed at Littlehampton and I assume it was at the fort as he was Royal Garrison Artillery. From your excellent photos I know they could have lived in the town close by.  The name of my relative was Isaac Evans Walters and anything you can add would be appreciated. Sadly he took his own life and it has been difficult to find information on him. Thank you for your efforts with the fort and I wish you good fortune in the future.“
